Modules don't show up in admin!

Hello! I installed Xoop several days ago, and was able to add modules and installed them fine. However today, I add some modules (myalbum, articles, etc) and those modules dont show up in my admin. I refresh the page, the server, but still nothing.
I can deleted one of the old module that worked, and upload the same on the server and I can see it and install.

Is there anyone that can help me with this ? Thanks you very much, and also, I got the latest version of xoops.

Sounds like a permissions problem to me.

Well, I chmod all the new modules to 777 and still nothing showed up. Anyone else?

Yeah, I'm getting the same problem too now. I can uninstall an existing module and it shows up to be reinstalled, but anything that I didn't have on there before won't show up on my admin list to be installed.

Finally I found out what is the problem by turning phpdebug on in the system admin>preference.
It was a module that had an error and made php stop there, and don't show any other new modules.

I had the same problem when I downloaded and installed XoopsGallery 1.3.3.6 (tgz) (tar ball file) on 4/30/05.

I did not have the problem when downloaded xoopsgallery-1_3_3_6.zip (zip file). After checking it several times in both Linux and Windows XP, I think the tar ball file was bad, and that is why the module did not show up in Xoops/Administration Module.
