I'm looking for one to install...no previous PDF-generation module or anything with such capabilities.

Thanks for all the replies...I checked News 1.54, and I think the only compatible version is 1.56 - does anyone know if it retains PDF creation?

And unfortunately, it doesn't look like Smartsection 2.13 is compatible either from the list..unless someone has other information?

Hello....is there a module or function to XOOPS that allows for generating PDFs from content, or a menu similar to the one on this page:

where you have options to print, generate PDF, etc?

Mamba: THANK YOU - that exactly the information I was looking for! I was trying to find out if there was some kind of compatibility chart so I'd know what modules (or what versions of modules) were compatible with my PHP and/or XOOPS version...but I can't always find that.

Basically, I'm putting together a higher learning site and I'd like the following functionality:

- articles (which I already have with AMS 3.0)

- wiki

- file manager for easier maintenance

- chat

- forums

- blogs

- the user page function would be nice, but it doesn't seem to work; at any rate, the ability to create new webpages would be good (or would this be more what the wiki does?)


I'm glad to hear that there is a reorganization of the modules going on...some of them sound fantastic but I've been afraid to install them because I'm not sure they'll work...but thanks for the link to the list of compatible modules!

I've tried to install the Wiwi wiki module on XOOPS 2.4.4, and it doesn't work. It installs fine (as in no errors reported), but when I attempt to edit any page there is no button to submit the page to the wiki. At the bottom there is only a preview button (which doesn't work) and a New Revision button, which just reloads a blank wiki page when I click it. Again, no errors come up with inline error reporting enabled.

I can't believe this....I have never had so many problems with addons with any other application before in my life. Can someone please offer some possible solutions? Thanks...

I just installed Filemanager 3.0 on XOOPS 2.4.4, and when I try to click a folder to go into a directory, I am simply returned to the top-level view of all my folders. I turned error checking on, and these are the errors I get:

thanks for the reply. I ended up doing a clean install, and AMS was the first module I installed after setting up. It works fine now
