Hello....is there a module or function to XOOPS that allows for generating PDFs from content, or a menu similar to the one on this page:

https://xoops.org/modules/wfchannel/index.php?wfc_cid=27

where you have options to print, generate PDF, etc?

Nope,

I tried a couple of years ago add a pdf lib as standard to Xoops, but to no avail and the code for this might still be around if somewhere you're a coder.

I assume if WF-Channel had categories you would use that?

The commerical package content allow for PDF Generation of content, it is available from www.defense.io

You can see a demo a www.female-warriors.com -- it uses TCPDF..

Thanks...the female-warriors.com website looks good, but as for the other one:

The file /home006/sub031/sc71990-RJWN/defense.io/index.php is corrupted.

You can always check out the News and NewBB/CBB module for how they have implemented pdf document generation from their articles/posts content.

The News 1.54 and Smartsection 2.13 modules both create PDF files from articles dynamically. Formatting is limited (basically picture above text) but pages can be customised with logo header and page footer etc.

I would imagine later versions would have retained this feature.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

Thanks for all the replies...I checked News 1.54, and I think the only compatible version is 1.56 - does anyone know if it retains PDF creation?

And unfortunately, it doesn't look like Smartsection 2.13 is compatible either from the list..unless someone has other information?

I'm looking for one to install...no previous PDF-generation module or anything with such capabilities.
