Xoops for mobile

Hi!
You know mobiles are on the increase now and may be going to beat computers in the race. I just want to know what xoops has for mobiles? I have certain questions pertaining to mobile users. These should be main areas of concern for future xoops for mobiles (if these are not already considered)

How to make the existing website mobile friendly?
Any specific module which can redirect mobile users to specific URL or directory?
How to make certain data or links available for mobile browsers?
Mobile Device Based Preferences?
Mobile Browser Based Preferences?
Show only text and PDF links for mobile users? (Because scanned images might not be a good option for mobiles)

Regards,

Re: Slow Xoops 2.5.0

I have 9 modules installed, and I am not using cache for any one of them, would it be a reason?
On home page I have 133 queries, does it also affect loading speed?

Re: Slow Xoops 2.5.0

Mamba! thanks for being always at help.
There is nothing wrong with the server. I use Dream Host, its pretty one, as no down time observed on other domains hosted there.
Let me know how to run database repair?

Slow Xoops 2.5.0

Hi, When I installed xoops 2.5.0 it worked fine, but with the passage of time, it seems going down and down, here are the timers;

XOOPS took 4.366 seconds to load.
XOOPS Boot took 0.238 seconds to load.
Module init took 0.038 seconds to load.
XOOPS output init took 4.074 seconds to load.
Module display took 0.000 seconds to load.
Page rendering took 0.014 seconds to load.

Can any one tell, how to speed it up? and what is wrong?

Thanks

Recommend Module to play Audio files

Hi,
Which module you would like to recommend to play audio files?
If it supports additional features, then its extra benefit like category, description, singer, album, writer etc.

New User Registration Email

I was receiving all the new registration requests by email. But since few days back, there is no email being received and many users are pending. I see them, when I go to inactive users, otherwise I get no info if some one is registered or not.
I am using xoops 2.5.0
What went wrong?

All the options remains unchanged and same as previous when email was being received, but no more.

Re: Icon Set and Text of TDM Downloads

Mamba! Thanks for responding here. Yeah images are there and can be overwritten, but the problem is these are very tiny ones, what I want is to have bit bigger images. If I upload bigger images, these are scaled down. So how to resolve that?
Secondly the text "Download Now" is very small, I want to make it bigger, how can I do that?
