Fixed it. The problem was the organization in tables, since I use notepad++ couldn't see it before, but when i put the file into a graphic editor it was clear.
By the way, could someone recommend a graphic editor for xoops? In my experience, Dreamweaver MX 2004 does ignore smarty tags, so it doesn't works fine for editing XOOPS themes.
Tried Kompozer too, but i find it a little difficult because it's not as intuitive as DreamWeaver...
So any suggestion is welcome. Thanks.

Hi, I'm stucked with a little trouble here. I have installed imago08 theme. I made the whole site with smartsection, liaise and multimenu. The site has the left column with the menu and the right column, with 2 blocks.
But when it comes to set up the homepage, I made a center block. When it displays, it uses the whole width of the table and the right column appears below this block, not at its right side.
Since with modulecontent it works fine, I guess it is a problem with the blocks code. I tried changing many width values in theme.html, and exploring classes and divs in style.css, but just can't realize what is wrong.
Can you help me? TIA.

I downloaded Article 1.00, installed and it seems interesting, but I'm a bit hurried with this project -must close it before friday-. SO I decided to make it with news + FCK. However, will try Article and also TinyEditor in next projects. I heard Tiny and Koivi had security problems in the past, could it be possible?

Many thanks everybody. I found very interesting the options you guys gave me, and I will try it for sure.
But finally got News module to function "almost" right. With some bugs, but works. and IMHO News is an excelent module, so I will try to improve the integration between this module and the editors.
If anybody has the same trouble, I got it to work following the changes suggested on this thread:

Hi,
I'm just finishing a project and I need a content management -news, indeed- module with WYSIWYG editors for users. I had many troubles configuring FCK for News Module -couldn't, in fact-, also I tried SmartSection with FCK and it had errors. So I decided to try Articles and AMS, but had troubles too. News and Smart looks like the most stable modules for this, but I can't make them work with editors. Maybe someone could give some advice on this. I read a lot about this trouble and just add more confusion. It's a little frustrating...
Hope anyone can help.
TIA,
Lucas

Maybe you are asking how to clone Smartsection Module?
You can do it easily.

1. First of all, unzip the file and and open thesmartsection folder (check for latest version at www.smartfactory.ca)
2. In this folder you will find 2 folders: the "smartsetion folder" which you need to upload to your modules and the "extra" folder which you will need later on
3. install the smartsection module on your site just like you do it with any other module
4. Activate the module in your admin and check if it works
5. Once this is finished, look again in the main folder you've unzipped and open the "extra " folder
6. inside there are 2 folders again : "clone " and "seo"
7. open the clone folder and you will find the "clone.php file "
8. make a backup copy in this folder of the "clone.php file "
9. create the clone info ( your changes in the second part, where mysection could be myproduct or whatever): $patterns = array(
// first one must be module directory name
'smartsection' => 'mysection',
'SMARTSECTION' => 'MYSECTION',
'SmartSection' => 'MySection',
'Smart Section' => 'My Section',
'SSECTION' => 'MSECTION',
'Smartsection' => 'Mysection'
);

pick a different name everytime you clone the module. take note that the six variables above are variations of the same name, in this case, "mysection".

10. save the clone.php file and upload this file to the root of your XOOPS installation
11. now just call the page : www.yoursite.com/clone.php ( could be www.yoursite.com/xoops/clone.php or www.yoursite.com/anyotherfolder/clone.php as well obviously depending on where your XOOPS is installed)

(*I wish to thank EdwinSpie who helped me with this).
