Hi Julian ...

It's been a long while since I last asked for your help. The Formulize & RegCodes modules have been the best. I am in the midst of adding some improvements to my website, but unfortunately I'm a bit stuck.

I noticed that the "Member Registration" form that was created in Formulize has a "Location" field (in the SQL Formulize DB is "Location" under ele_caption). I have just installed the Liaise module, and created a Contact Us form. It reads the default values of {NAME} and {EMAIL} properly, but not {USER_FROM}. I found out, apparently that the "user_from" field (in the SQL XOOPS User DB) is empty because the "Location" info is not written back into "user_from".

My question is, how do I create a short PHP command in the Liaise module that can fill in the default value of "Location" from the Formulize DB for the user that is currently logged in?

Your help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Regards,

Jason

Yes! Formulize 2.2 RC1 is compatible with XOOPS 2.0.16. I'm currently running that together with Registration Codes 2.2 RC1, they work well. Before, I was using XOOPS 2.0.15 which had some major bugs that Formulize 2.2 RC1 ran into problems.

include\calendarjs.php
class\xoopsform\formtextdataselect.php
As for these 2 patch files, I think the URL below can help answer your question:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1077123&group_id=41586&atid=430842

Please contact Julian Egelstaff directly for further details.

Anyway, I didn't make use of these 2 patch files, and Formulize 2.2 RC1 just works fine in meeting my needs.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Jason

Why don't you give "SmartSection" module a try? You can read more about it from smartfactory.ca and download the latest version from there too.

Questions ...
1. Any idea how to remove partners' image from the upload directory? Apparently there's no such feature in the current version, and there's no way to remove the image(s) via FTP (permission denial).

2. Is there a SEO made for the SmartPartner module?

Anyone ...

@ jegelstaff ...

In that case, can you at least provide me some "newbie" steps to begin with in order that a 'crude' form can appear whenever a new user clicks on Register Now and group Reg Code. This is precisely where I got stuck.

Many thanks in advance ...
Jason

@ jegelstaff ...

Thanks for the immediate reply. However, I would really appreciate it if an example/sample "user registration form" can be provided for me to customise. Since I've tried to work around Reg Codes together with Formulize, I believe Formulize isn't for newbies like me. It's very complex and confusing for me to begin with.

I hope that you can assist me with my above request soon.

Many thanks in advance ...
Jason

@ hiflyer ...

I tried both Reg Codes & Formulize modules for my website (which runs on XOOPS 2.0.15). But unfortunately, I don't have the slightest clue on how to build a registration form on Formulize for a specify group.

Could you kindly show me how I can achieve that? An example/sample will be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance ...
Jason

I have already done that before, but there're no specific instructions which guides one how to install & setup LogCounterX onto the system. Would you by any chance know how to do that?

Cheers,
J.

I've recently installed LogCounterX 2.7 into my web portal, but it doesn't seem to 'move'. I haven't got the slightest clue on what needs to be configured in order for the counter to run. I even visited the developer's website for clues, but in vain due to not understanding Japanese.

Any kind soul here to help me out?

Cheers,
J.
