I am a newbie to Xoops, I have only been using it since Jan 2006. I run 6 internet only radio stations and they were using either Nuke 7 or post nuke.

I gave other CMS a look se but none of them were as easy as Xoops. I don;t have a lot of time to site and learn new tricks, I am an old dog

The support as been second to none, there are times that some mods give me an ulcer installing, but I think thats down to my lack of knowledge.

I have given several of my DJs XOOPS sits to play with and these people have no web experience and they are learning this very easily.

But CMS is like underwear, Mine fits me perfect but I am sure most of you wouldn't want to wear it :)

I everyone I am pretty new to XOOPS and these forums. I moved over to XOOPS a few months ago and I love it, so easy to install and use. I run a few internet radio stations and I have moved all of the stations various websites to Xoops.

OK the reason I am posting here today is that I am looking for a special person who knows their XOOPS and is interested in working on a new project I am involved in and I want to use Xoops. I have started a new internet station called ‘Above The Charts’, which is all unsigned and independent artists in music and comedy.

The station is 24/7 on an automated system (SAM3 broadcaster/DSR2006/Jazler) and there is a feature that allows the use of My Sql to show what’s on what’s next etc.

I am looking for someone who is interested in helping create this website that has experience in Xoops. If you have your own business I would be happy to create a commercial to be aired on the station every hour and of course you would advertising rights on the website.

I know this is not for everyone, but I am sure there is someone out there at a loose end that would like to tackle a project like this from the ground floor. This station though affiliated with my other stations (which are all BMI registered) is a personal project for me. I have a passion for unsigned artists and this is a vehicle that will allow many artists to get air play and allow their music to be heard.

So if any kind soul out there is interested please contact, I know a little about XOOPS but I need someone that KNOWS XOOPS and loves it and wants to do something a little new.

Cheers

Just an update. I couldnt figure outnwhat happen to the admin link as stated in this thread.

SO I used a back up of my database and uploaded it to my site and everything is working again.

So that points to a problem in the sql db I am guessing.]

Thanks to everyone that messaged me with help.

And remember before you do something new to your website
BACK UP BACK UP BACK UP :)

-Juliette- thanks for getting back to me. I went to the place you said and all the group ids are 2

So I am guessing somehow the group 1 got deleted ?

I never use myphpadmin, adn I am the only admin on mysite so I don't know how it could change.

I do not see where I would add a user group 1 which I am guessing is for ADMIN.

Any help ?

Well after search both these forums and the forums over athttp://www.bbpixel.com I can not for the life of me figure out what is wrong.

Everything on the site is working fine and smooth there is just no place for me as the only admin to login.

admin.php gives me the message You do not have rights to access this area.

So I am one step away from having to reinstall my site from a March 3rd back up.

Any suggestions at all before I do this?
