Hi,

I had the same problem, then by accident found out that the latest MySQL is not supported by every module... Actually found that out while trying to get coppermine to work:) Coppermine is not compatible with MySQL 5, so I had to downgrade...

After I downgraded to first stable version below 5 (I think it's 4.4 or 4.04), not only coppermine worked again, but also things like the Who's Online...

So, check your version of MySQL and find out if it is supported by the Who's Online mod...

Have fun,

Same problem here... Running on Windows 2000 Advanced Server, latest versions of PHP, MySQL and XOOPS.

Found the cause... you won't believe this: I was at work and unpacked 3 new modules into the module-directory. One of them was 'Magazine 1.2'. Without installing, this module caused the problem of messing up my module page... Removed it out of the modules directory and everything turned back to 'normal' again:)

Weird... anyway, back to having fun with Xoops:)

Tnx for the time!

Nope, it's permanent... Cleared cache as first solution, tbh:) but doesn't go away.

Hi,

I have a problem, or actually there seems to be more than one:

First off, when I go to the Administration screen, the screen is empty, except for the menu options on the top of the screen. Always thought it was meant to be that way, but have read through the forums, and guessing it isn't realy all that okay...

Second: today I wanted to add a few modules. Going to the Administration page and clicken the Modules - Administration option from the dropdown menu presented me with a screen that is far from what I usually get: no layout or background, and only installed modules show (although very 'raw'...), and no modules to add, although I'm sure they're there... Also the complete menu is gone...

To see what I mean, please look at a partial screenshot here:http://www.delta-32.co.uk/screen.jpg

I've checked my php.ini for the include_path statement, and edited it, although the folder 'includes' wasn't even existing on my setup...

Using latest versions of PHP, XOOPS and MySQL, running under IIS and Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

Weird thing is, it worked fine up until a few hours ago. Suddenly i got what is shown in the screenshot.

Is there a way to 'restore' the original screen layout? Which .php-files need to be 'fixed'??? And, although I have asked that in some other thread too: what is supposed to be in the \php\includes folder???

Tia,
Moi.

FYI, I had the same problem on my Win2K-SP2 machine and the include path fix worked fine. The default include path on my Win2k PHP 4.1.2 install was c:\php4\pear -- which doesn't exist (php is installed on D, not C and I don't have pear installed). I would assume this is a really PHP bug / issue???

Note that my PHP.INI looked like this before:

; UNIX: "/path1:/path2"
;include_path = ".:/php/includes"
;
; Windows: "\path1;\path2"
; include_path = ".;d:\php\includes"

Simply uncommenting the last "include_path = ..." line fixed the problem. I still don't know where it was getting c:\php4\pear from....

Thanks!

What actually is in that d:\php\includes directory? I have a similar problem, and have editted my php.ini like suggested in this thread... but there was no 'includes' directory at all to begin with:) is there anything in there that i'm missing? am using latest php version...

I do have similar issues: Who's Online, New Members and System Info all don't show nothing else but the block header...

Kinda boring:)

Hosting XOOPS-site locally...

Hi,

I'm running my own webserver, with (until now) a simple HTML-website under IIS. To access that website from 'inside' my LAN, I need to connect to the internal IP-address of the server it is on.

From 'outside', through the internet, I connect through the registered url.

That has never been a problem, until now:)

For testing reasons, I have setup a XOOPS-site under my main site. The main-site is accessible internal and externally, without problems. The XOOPS-site however is only reachable from the LAN OR through the internet...

Maybe I'm missing something, but, in the 'mainfile.php' one has to put the external IP or official url to make the XOOPS-site reachable from the outside. This poses a problem, for if I want to reach it from inside my LAN, I have to enter the internal IP into the mainfile.php

Is there any way around this, so I can reach the site from both internal as external locations???

[EDIT]: My network is a LAN, connected to the Internet via a broadband router/modem. The router/modem does NAT to and from the outside...

Cheers in advance,
Lilinallte
