This is not a browser or firewall issue as far as i can tell.

No one can register to my site, it just redirects when you try to register.

I create a user, try to log in and it does the same thing, redirects and you cant log in.

The only way for people to log into my site is if i create a user and give them moderator status..

I fix it, its amazing what the search feature gives you on here. LOL! Maybe next time i will spent a bit of time searching to see if people have had this problem before..

Error in tplsets on X 2.2.1

I'm gettin the following error in the admin section when i view the templates... Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in mysite/modules/system/admin/tplsets/main.php on line 103.. and the page is screwy, anyone know how i can fix this?

I did a fresh install on X 2.2.1 everything works ace, except people can't register. I have it set on activate automatically and Allow new user registration is set to YES. The only way that users can log into the site after i had to create a user manually is if i make them a moderator.

Problem with upgrading - lost all members..

I have upgraded to XOOPS 2.2.1, all my data is still there and everything seems to be working fine. But i have lost all my members, they don't show up, all the posts are there but no members in the members list. I am logged in but my name doesn't show up.

Yep, thats all well and good but that will replace the blue envelope everwhere on your site.

I'm talking about replacing the envelopes on every forum with different ones, not the same one.

Example...

My forums using Xoops...

Yes it is replacing the envelope icons on each individual forum that you have on your site. But only on the main forum page, not when you view the forum topics in each forum or the envelope icons at the bottom of your forum page, them envelope icons will still show up.

Thanks for the reply, no its not in the install or docs. I worked out how to do it in the end. It was in the newbb.css and just changed them from the blue. Dunno how i overlooked that in the first place.
