Users Can't register on X 2.2.1

I did a fresh install on X 2.2.1 everything works ace, except people can't register. I have it set on activate automatically and Allow new user registration is set to YES. The only way that users can log into the site after i had to create a user manually is if i make them a moderator.

Maybe you have the same problem I had. Anonymous users did not have access to the Extended Profiles module.

I have a similar problem in that when a user tries to register, it shows the error that the password must be at least 3 characters, even when it is more than 3 chars.

Also, I have given anonymous users access to the extended profile.

Any ideas?
