When we install XOOPS 2.0.14 or 2.2.3 we cannot login. We created the database install everything all good with no errors. We create an admin account and finish the install and get the "main" page with the login menu. We login with the username and password we created, we see a screen "Thank you for logging in... if this page does not redirect in 3 seconds..." and we are redirected back to the main page. The menu displays the area for logging into the site again and we do not have any other options. It does not recognized that we are logged in. We have tried the same package on another server and they both install fine. We follow the same procedure on each and one works the other does not. We are using the same version of php and MySQL on each server and still only works on one server.

We also receive several "notices". Not sure if these are incidental or critical.

Are you talking about software to manage time? Or to run on the actual computers people browse with? I have been to a number of internet cafe's world wide and the best way to do it is to run something like Knoppix. It is a linux live cd. It runs right off of the cd, a hard drive is not required. That and you dont have to pay M$ for licsensing fees.

Hey hey, I can help you if you like. I am in Canada and own a hosting company. I will gladly hook you up with a hostname or subdomain and install XOOPS and help you out. The best part it is free. I check my email 843534 times a day so if you need help I can definitely do this.

How about an interview module?

Upon installing "interviews" the user would choose to create a new interview it would go something like this.

User is prompted to input a "Foreword".
Eg: This interview is with Joe Blow from www.website.com, he was interviewed by User Name from "Our Website" on September 32 2129.

After hitting "Submit" to the foreward the form asks how many questions is the interview? Or the user is prompted with a "Question" and "Answer" field until they choose to "End question segment".

At this point the user is prompted to input any "Final" words.
Eg: Thanks to Joe Blow from website com, our next interview with Jane Doe from www.website.org, check back soon!

Once you press submit, the form will generate an index page of all interviews and who they were submitted by. Upon choosing an interview the very top part will have the forward, then the Q: and A: segments will appear in two opposite colours, (the user can use hex codes to choose the colours) the interviewer can be say Light grey and the interviewed person can appear as dark grey? (Again the user can customize the text and background by choosing hex codes under preferences) And at the end of the Q: & A: it will have the final word.

Um yeah I think thats it... oh, one thing. In Canada we do spell colour with a "u" so its not a typo

Have you thought about getting a professional looking custom theme for your site? It may cost money but will be somewhat original and you can get exactly what you want.
