Ok the simnple rule of example is:

I have 2 domains, two different type of CMS systems

1. XOOPS 2.0.18 Domain 1
2. SMF 1.x.x Domain 2

Would like a way to make each type of forums to interact towards one another, either by core, Module, or in a sql inject, or Rss?

Anyhow, when user is at domain 1, it also is later copied to domain 2.. Another user replies on Domain 2 butthen copies to domain 1.

In this example, users do not have to register on both sites. But when the other sites has the copy the user name is stated as gust and states that it is from the other domain..

The reason for this is, like domain 1 would be a a main site for an organization, then domain 2 would be a a sub part group, but woudl not want to link all to it.

So is there a way to make this work somehow.. Anyone out there willing to look at this idea, if not on a separate note, I am will to contribute cash to design this... Would love a module based that can be worked on this admin area and to have it do like a simmliar cron jobs and all.

Ok so there ya go.. Any one have any ideas, or do I need to post this elsewhere.. Not asking for support here but to add a new feature somehow..

I would love to get xfire working for xoops.. Our clan base would love this to be added to our site, but so far no one is pursuing this and it is a largely used chat proggy..

There has to be someone out there willing to take a crack at this..

I would love to see this added to the profile area.. Matter of fact, XOOPS should allow the admin to list what he or she wants to be listed in the profile. Our site only uses X-fire and some yahoo. but nothing else..

Anyhow, if there is anyone???? Xfire module should list the members that have given the id.. Xfire.com has the profiles that others can use as sigs and sorts, so that should be easy to setup, just need a programmer to put it all together...

Any takers????? I will be glad to test since I run an odd setup compared to most sites as far as my server goes..

This would be a great module to add to the repository and I can assue you all it could be used almost on every XOOPS site that does games....

Hello all..

I looked around and saw nothing thta would help me in thus unusual spot...

I have these two sites, they both run the same stuff. Both have a forum area called "Project Logs". One site will be used ALL the time and for all the posts.. But the other site i want to have the logs (forum messages) to be copied in there.

Is there a way to make it so that when a user off the first site posts a message and then another user happnes to go to the other site that it will list the projects logs of the other site?

If that is not possible what about when a user off the 2nd site clicks on a forum that it explains they are going to a different site for the reading of project logs..

If I am not real clear here I do apologize. In a nutshell I want to sync two different forums together from two different sites. I do not want to do any database work or sql injectsions or scheduling if I do not have to...

Any solutions? Would appreciate any sound adivce here..

Hi there everyone.. Hope I have list4ed this in the right place.

I have a veryt large site for gamers and the site now is partially down for the forums..

I am using updated from 2.0.10 then to 2.0.11 then to 2.0.12 then to 2.0.12a then last to 2.0.13

I also have NewBB 2.02 all had seemed well till the last one or two updates. Belo is what error I get when I do a debug.. Other wise I get error occured and thats that..

Here is the debug info.. Can anyone help me out here? If you can look at the error below and let me know what I need to do or can do to fis this.. NO ONER can post any messages now. I have done all the updates as well as just copied 2.0.13 in full and still the same errors..

I have figured out the Newbb with IMage Manager to upload images, not exactly user friendly for the typical paerson.. But it does work once you have it setup..

As for subs, I have yet to see how it can work in Newbb.. ?? I have tried a few things but nothing so far...

I am just wandering if there is a mod out there for this stuff that is so easy for the end user..

Hello there.. I am new here.. And my questions are simple.. I am looking to move to XOOPS on several site but on this particular one, Sub Category forums and Images in posted messages are a must..

Is it possible within Xoops? Or is there a module I have missed that would enable this?

IN a nutshell if I am not clear enough, as posting this message there would be a place to upload an image to list with this message...

As for the forum, there would would be an area like. Lan Party forum, then under that would be the parties and other things.

yes I know you can have tons of categories.. but sub forums let you keep the front page simple...

In any case, can any of you help me and let me know if both or one of the other is currently available some where.,..

I am thinking of if this is not avalable to use the soon to be released XOOPS with phpBB installed so I can use these two areas as I use now...
