Hello! thanks in advance for reading this.

Im running quite a big forum with about 5,000 reg. users. im using phpbb 2.0.1. it's a stand alone version, therefore it is running without any kind of portal system.

now Im wondering if I can use the old board with xoops. I saw some modules at bbpixel.com (frankly speaking, there are 4 related to phpbb, but im unable to understand which one does what i want).

could you please tell me how to proceed? shall i first uptade the production forum to the latest version, then try to do the migration by using one of the modules (which one?).

thanks indeed for any hint!!

hello! are there no more advanced classifieds available for xoops? I would need one for a db with about 25,000 ads. the mod should have admin validation, multiple pictures (or even gallery) as well as private email stuff.

great i found this posting. is there further a way to set the notification options invisibile? I'd love to have the default setting to 'email' without having the user prompted to this options every time.

thanks!

hi m0nty!

thanks a lot for your help. may you pls help me for the last time? i did install the new download module by

1) uninstallnig the old one
2) installing the new one

I did not get any error. seems the install was correct. I created a new download category named TEST. but whenenver i try to upload something, i get an ERROR (its really just a generic error, the script doesnt specify why or what).

Im just wondering that in the 'new download' form it says:

Allowed File Types:
|

do i have to specify which kind of files are allowed? if yes where do i have to do it? can i leave it blank to all all kind?

thanks a lot!!!
