when modules is uploaded,installed through and then again when i go to modules administration screen ,

i see these modules listed there under installed modules section:

1. SophosVirus Flash v.1.0
2. Symantec Alert Block v1.0

once logged in as admin, administration menu->control panel menu and here i
don't see any of these above modules listed to configure but i see these modules under
Edit Groups and Block Administration menu.

i'm using headlines0 module to fetch RSS feeds from the RSS enabled site but my problem is
i'm unable to see the updated content on my site. It's same old RSS feed data.. why is so? How do
i get the updated RSS feed data on my site.
But when i use that RSS site from some other RSS fetching program, i get the updated information. so,
what's wrong with the modules in Xoops?
Same things happen with above two listed modules too.. 1. Sophos VirusFLash v.1.0 and 2. Symantec
AlertBlock v1.0 module. They don't either show the updated content.

I'm using XOOPS version 2.0.10.

I've been using the XOOPS since 2 years and ever since i upgraded successfully from 2.0.5.2 to 2.0.10,
i think i'm facing all these strange problems. I've not faced any problems accept these RSS feeding blocks
which are not updating itself nomatter if i try that from module configure option(in case of headlines0 modules, i
don't have option to configure SophosVirusFlash and Symantec Alert Block modules in control panel menu.)

any kind of help and tips regarding
1. how to enable my blocks to show updated RSS content
2. how to make those modules appear under control panel menu(though i've successfully installed them)
would be most welcomed.

I've been trying to figure it out,why RSS is not working on my site.? i used Headlines,Headlines0,XML RSS FEED as modules but what i get is only blank page even i tried the .xml extention for my feed.

All three modules i installed one by one, showed me same result and that is blank page, ? what's going on??

Hello, i already did that chmod stuff but that's not working. So, when i enabled the PHP Debuf mode as described above. I got so many unknown warning codes. When i click one of the member, it shows me the page like below:

I installed Xoops.
i created Custom Block from the Admin and named it WELCOME.

Now, i want to change the background color of that particular CUSTOM BLOCK.

How do i do that??
Please get me help in simple steps.

Since, i'm on the initial stage of my website publishing. I just did make "1" in place of "O" for the minimum posts required to upload avatars. I also set YES to custom avatar upload. Still, nothing shows when i wanted to change avatar and click on the user.

I don't know what is the problem?

Whenever i log on,i tried to change the avatar but no way out!! i did every possibilities.

From member menu, i tried to click the available registered user. Then , the coming up page shows blank. So, please so me the way, how should i solve this problem!

I uploaded my own avatar to the host and it shows System avatar list. I thought it should be custom avatar.

But i think first that page should come up which should be shown after i click the registered user.

i'm the webmaster of the web site.

But now, i'm still suffering from one new problem.

As i've seen in xoops.org site, there on the Top posters, one could have that lil image called avatars. Which i've seen being used at forums too.

But, to my dismay , i did everything from Admin-userinfo to enable all things that i thought should be..

but, whenever i tried to click other user or myself, nothing happens, just blank screen comes.

why is this so?

I installed almost all modules...but to that myalbum Module,everything went fine but the way to add photo or you can say upload.. i can't find it.
From offline, everything installed on my computer, from the localhost , there is that ADD PHOTOS button and i can do everything like adding photos ..

But from hosting server, there is no ADD PHOTOS button . I did change the attribute to all the folders too 777 mod and similarly files to 666 mod, but still same problems.

And, i don't know what id GD path, ImageMix and Net... ..

please help me with this issue..
