I too have this problem.
XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.4.4
PHP Version 5.2.6
mySQL Version 5.0.77
CBB 3.08

Old topics that receive replies do not show on the main page, whereas new topics do (added a test one then removed it).

Got this reply from the host

"We have recently changed the way our Shared Servers handle Outgoing mail, this is in an attempt to cut down on the amount of Spam being sent out.

Every PHP Send Mail script must now include the ini_set ('sendmail_from', 'address@yourdomain') line in the script.

You basically need to put the FROM address in place of the 'address@yourdomain' and this will validate the Form mail and allow it to be sent."

Anyone already changed the code in xoops?

I cannot get sendmail or php mail to work from these. Has anyone had experience setting up XOOPS through them? They've got so many restrictions, that nothing actually leaves the website. No contact us form, and registrations don't work.

In send mail settings, the path (as suggested by Streamline.net help) is
/usr/sbin/sendmail -fwebmaster\@cheshair.com

I can email to and from the webmaster at cheshair account, just not through xoops.

I feel like I'm missing something here.
I've got about 3000 posts on my Newbb 2.02, XOOPS 2.0.16.
I put latest Frameworks in XOOPS root, added the XOOPS Editor, and overwrote the newbb files with the CBB 3.08 files. Go to system, modules, update the forum and all I get is a blank screen. Tried it on an empty database and it still doesn't quite work.

With debug on, I get

My testing website...

I've got one point on the map. Is there a way to give a link, to show the googlemap module with that point displayed? For example, post a link in a forum, and have the link point to an address in the googlemaps?

For your information. On a fresh install of 2.0.16 and Extcal 2.04 RC 2 (of which ever the latest is), I get the same two error lines. So at least you're not alone!

I'm very interesed in this. My current free host (www.streamline.net) will expire in next few weeks. Can't say I'm happy with the performance, especially when running scripts (they fail 90% of time).

Anyway, tried your site, i get the following message when trying to order a package.

Me too, I always seen to pick the wrong modules. I'd like to see community portals with a car theme, as I run a VW community website. Whick gallery module to run? Which module for members cars? Blah blah, too confusing.
