Only 12 users? full?

I think it's something to do with either the cache or perms to write to certain files, not sure...

Other clues, selecting an alt theme changes it only for the page I'm on when i select it, but reverts to default theme as son as i go to another page.

Changing permissions in groups won't stick either.

Baffled...
Thnx.

Logged in as admin I get that error msg if I try to update anything in the system administration.

Also will not install module, just keeps taking me back to modules main interface.... [trying to get backpack installed]

Operating system Linux
Kernel version 2.6.18-164.11.1.el5
Apache version 2.2.14
PHP version 5.2.12
MySQL version 5.0.90-community

Read various versions of this prob already, but none seem to be system wide like this, just in certain modules [gallery, forum etc. as best as I can see].

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Hmmm, ok, I was going from the diagram, but misinterpreted it, maybe because it didn't seem logical.

Outside the root folder implies one level up into my account directory? sounds crazy, why did it get changed? And does this mean both folders will be irrelevant in future installs (assuming they go on the same account) as they will already be in account folder? No, xoops_data is data for that particular install, so every install will need a separate lib & data folder outside the install's root directory... a special directory for every install?

Suddenly XOOPS is a pain in the rear.. anyway around this?

Moved both folders as suggested into a newly created folder I called xoops_trust and deleted both folders from the root directory, then defined the paths to both in mainfile.php..

Now I get ROOT/xoops_trust/xoops_lib
& ROOT/xoops_trust/xoops_data is inside DocumentRoot!

New install of 2.3.3b
Ideas?
Thnx.

FROM COPPERMINE FAQ/ DOCS
I don't want to show the last uploads and/or random pictureson the start page. How do I edit what's shown on the start page of coppermine?[/b]

1. login as admin into your CPG setup
2. click on "Admin Mode" if it is not already enabled
3. Click on Config in the "Admin Menu"
4. under "Album list view" use the above provided keywords:
* 'breadcrumb': navigation inside the gallery (e.g. "home > category > subcategory > album")
* 'catlist': category list
* 'alblist': album list
* 'random': random pictures (leaving random pictures "on" for huge galleries with more than 10,000 pics might result in performance problems; switch random "off" in this case)
* 'lastup': last uploads
* 'topn': most viewed
* 'toprated': top rated
* 'lastcom': last comments
* 'lasthits': last viewed
* 'lastalb': last created albums
* 'anycontent': inserts php-generated custom content that YOU have coded into the file 'anycontent.php' and displays the content on the index page. It can be used to include banner-rotation scripts, welcome scripts, or similar. Where it appears in the index page is determined by it's placement in the string example below.
(e.g. anycontent/catlist/alblist/random,2/lastup,2 translates to: "anycontent file contents, category list, album list, 2 rows of random pics, 2 rows of last uploads" -- and will display in the order that they are listed)

I'm probably a dummy, but I can't for the life of me find this in xcgal, trolled thru all the php and html files, and couldn't find anycontent/catlist/alblist/random,2/lastup,2 either? Have been trying to change this detail; random,2/lastup,2 to random,3/ or random,3/lastup,0 which ever applies. HELP!

Thanks again in advance.

Can you PM me the cloned one, please.

@ zyspec
The site with smartclient is a x2.0.16
The site with smartpartner that I'm trying to clone is running x2.3.1

issues with smart module(s) started when server was updated to PHP 5

I'll be the first to admit I am NOT a coder, just a XOOPS enthusiast who's getting regrettably less enthusiastic lately, the code seemed much more clean and logical in the past, I could be wrong, but it's looking that way to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thnx in advance.

Ok, I'm a little slow, but I can't find "clone module" anywhere, maybe I'm just tired... this fix seems worth a try before I scrap smart modules and redo clients section from a different module. Where do I clone it?

Thanks in advance,

I have an install of xcgal (coppermine) and I want to completely remove "Latest Uploads" block from all details pages. I commented out some on details page, but thumbs AND pics disappeared. I've been going over the thumbs.html file and I am not sure which section to comment out so "Random Pics" stays and "Latest..." disappears.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Oh, latst version of everything (server side, xoops, xcgal...)

Any advances on this at all?

Is their a pro developer that might be interested in getting paid for a fix? Let me know.

Also found a dev friendly cafepress alternative, again, if a pro developer is interested, let me know.
