Thanks svaha much appreciated mate. However-what about the top post of this thread? Do those changes need to be made too? In the xoops_config.php? (hanging head and shaking it side to side ever so slightly) And where exactly cuz I'm slow sometimes, don't mean to be... Thanks for any help in clearing this up.
If I do make this change and someone said it wasn't a permanent fix, then what?

Find this in your Theme.html:

<body>
<table cellspacing="0" id="top">
<tr><td class="slogan" colspan="2"><{$xoops_slogan}></td></tr>
<tr id="header">
<td id="headerlogo"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.jpg" alt="" /></a></td>
<td id="headerbanner"><{$xoops_banner}></td>
</tr>

Remove the cell:

<td id="headerbanner"><{$xoops_banner}></td>

Replace: the logo.jpg with your logo file name at:

<img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.jpg" alt="" /></a>

Hope that helps.

Edit your theme. You need to find
<{$xoops_banner}>
and delete it from your theme. This will get rid of the banner at that location. Then edit your theme to place your logo.

Okay guys-you all are talking Greek again. No-I'm not sure it is even Greek to me.

Not sure what to do. I am running 2.2.4 so if there needs to be a fix can someone explain it in one post as a step by step instruction? Please...

The reason I ask this is because I am relatively new to XOOPS too, know very little about php etc. And all the jumping back and forth is making me deeeeeeeezy!

Kudos to the finder of the problem and their work to solve it. Thanks!

No sweat Deram. If you aren't sure about database manipulation etc. you aren't alone. But geesh don't blast us like that! People are from all over the world and time takes time...

I didn't want to mess with the different table prefix either so here is what I did.

I downloaded the most up to date phpadsnew program and installed it and it works great. I follow the directions, set my banners, campaigns etc. then generate the code, copy it and paste it where I need it in my XOOPS modules, theme, etc and it works great. The program itself uses it's own database and I myself like that idea for a couple of reasons of my own: If something happens to my XOOPS I don't loose my client ads for one. I can update the program and stay current with the most up to date PhpAdsNew more easily. At least for me anyway. Here is the link where you can download the program.

Hope this helps you out and you have a nice day!

No they won't effect the stability of your site. They have something to do with the version of php your server is running. I think. Just do like jdseymour said in quote below.

These are not errors, only notices. Go to Preferences - General Settings and turn off debug mode and they will not be shown.

Smarty tags don't work in custom blocks. I have something similar on my site but I don't have it in a block. It is in my chosen location within my theme. Not sure if that helps but all I can think of at the moment. Unless you know php? If you know how to hard code php you can use it in the block and select that it is a php block.

I had similar problems one time. I hadn't installed the extended profiles module, at least I think that is what it was... Because after I did install the extended modules, emptied the template_c directory and updated the system it worked.

If it isn't just delete it from your active blocks.
I am pretty sure it is the same thing I was talking about.
