I apologize, I thought you were mentioning about adding a new forum, that's when I get this error:

Quote:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xoopsformselect() in /home/state/public_html/modules/newbb/class/formselectuser.php on line 34

I too get the blank box in the "Editing Forum" section preventing me from editing any of the forums.

I get the same error, only difference is in the box on your pic labeled "Editing Forum", I get this error:

Quote:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xoopsformselect() in /home/state/public_html/modules/newbb/class/formselectuser.php on line 34

LINE 34 Reads:
Quote:

$this->XoopsFormSelect($caption, $name, $value, $size, $multiple);

It hasn't effected the forum, at least from any stand point that I can see so far. Everything seems to operating properly. I can post, use poll, etc.

Of course I would like to know what it causeing this too! Any ideas anyone?

Any chance someone has an idea on this subject? I cannot open up the registration for my website until I can figure a way to get this "Real Name" to show up.

I did try the old hack Herko, but it did not work.

Herko,

I haven't tried the hack yet. I thought it was best to wait before proceeding with that hack.

Mith,

It's a rather simple change, though.

I'm all ears Mith...how simple is it?

Is there a way to make the "Real Name" a required field for user registration in XOOPS 2.2 RC2? I really need this field to be visible on the registration page for verification purposes of registrants.

Is it possible to use the XOOPS 2.0.10 hack for this?
Real name hack.

Just need to check before I mess something up.

Thanks in advance for any help with this!

This a new (Full) install of NewBB 2.02. Everytime I create a new Sub-form and click the button "Create Form" I get this error:

Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xoopsformselect() in /home/state/public_html/fl/modules/newbb/class/formselectuser.php on line 34

Line 34 Reads:

Quote:

$this->XoopsFormSelect($caption, $name, $value, $size, $multiple);

Anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

I am having the same problem as what you mentioned dr770.

After registering and hitting the "Finished" button, I get the same error twice.

Quote:

Warning [PHP]: implode(): Bad arguments. in file class/mail/xoopsmultimailer.php line 171

As far as what you are mentioning in the "Activation" part of it, I get this;

The user registering sees this in their e-mail:

Quote:

Under the "Subject Header" of the new users email (_US_YOURACCOUNT)

After I activate the account, I get this:
Quote:

In my webpage I see this after activating the account.(_US_ACTVMAILOK)

The only other issue I haven't been able to figure out is how to allow for more options under "Select"? I think it only gives you 12 to select from and I am needing approximately 70 options to select from.

Sorry Mith, I have another additional item I have had problems with also. If I go to Edit a user and click the "Edit" button, it takes me the Admin Page displaying the "System Module" options. And I haven't been able to figure out how to delete a user other than by MySQL.

I'm not seeing the video, but as you said, I do hear the audio. The problem I see is an "Error downloading Encoder".

As it loads, media player is telling me there was an error downloading a codec.

Evidently, I don't have the specific codec required to view your video format. Which surprises me as I have Windows XP Media Edition and I do alot of work on this OS with video production.

Maybe check and see if those that are able to view the video have an older OS or the new Windows XP. Maybe this could give you idea on whether or not to change the video format.

I have to say I am "Extremely Happy" with the new Security measures making it harder for a hack to figure out both the username and display name.

Security has to be a top priority for any site, just get hacked once and you'll agree. The easiest way I found to notify potential clients about what "DisplayName" meant was to use the FAQ "Registration Requirements" in a block visible to my guest so they could understand the reason for the security and how to fill out the registration properly.

I have yet to have anyone fill out the registration improperly and I have had several comments about the "Nice" security measure making them feel more at ease.

I think the problem I am running into now is the "Select" and "Multi-select" option in the registration field. In version 2.2rc, it allowed only 4 options. In version 2.2rc2, this does not allow ANY option. So you cannot make a drop down "select" for members to select. You can't even get the "Default" fields like ICQ, YIM, ect to creat a "Select" drop down field.

I am hoping this was just a missed item and can be corrected in the stable version.

Well actually, if he is using version 2.2rc. I know what he is talking about. I have a 3 column site running in version 2.0.13. And as you said Wizanda, I can get the center column to show for anonymous users from the Groups permission box.

On the other hand, in version 2.2rc, using the same theme and modules as the one in 2.0.13 and allowing the same permission to anonymous users, I cannot get the center column to show up when looking at the site as a guest. Once you login, it does show the center column.
