Huge Problem with Xoops 2.2 and NewBB 2.02:

I can't edit forums anymore :(

I get the same error, only difference is in the box on your pic labeled "Editing Forum", I get this error:

Quote:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xoopsformselect() in /home/state/public_html/modules/newbb/class/formselectuser.php on line 34

LINE 34 Reads:

$this->XoopsFormSelect($caption, $name, $value, $size, $multiple);


It hasn't effected the forum, at least from any stand point that I can see so far. Everything seems to operating properly. I can post, use poll, etc.

Of course I would like to know what it causeing this too! Any ideas anyone?

I apologize, I thought you were mentioning about adding a new forum, that's when I get this error:

I too get the blank box in the "Editing Forum" section preventing me from editing any of the forums.

don`t know about newbb, but my cbb work when i try to edit forum..but don`t work try access the blocks button

edited: i`m using cbb 1.13

Thanks for the advice z_dane, but I really didn't like CBB's format (rss, IP's, and it's general construction, etc). Actually the best format personally, for the forums I have seen was NewBB 1.13. I may try to get that version to work in XOOPS 2.2.

Bump! I have the exact display problem when trying to edit a forum from the Forum tab in newbb. Just found it and then noticed your post. PHP Debug shows:

Also, when replying to a post or trying to start a new topic, the user goes to the "an error has ocurred" page and php debug shows nothing.

NewBB2 does not work properly with XOOPS 2.2 a new version of CBB is about to be released that works with XOOPS 2.2 a release candidate is already available.

CBB has replaced Newbb2.

CBB has the same features as Newbb2 + more - as it is from the same main programmer, Phppp.

A release candidate of CBB 2.2 is available now - and the final version will be available shortly.
