Real Name in XOOPS 2.2 rc2

Is there a way to make the "Real Name" a required field for user registration in XOOPS 2.2 RC2? I really need this field to be visible on the registration page for verification purposes of registrants.

Is it possible to use the XOOPS 2.0.10 hack for this?
Real name hack.

Just need to check before I mess something up.

Thanks in advance for any help with this!

There isn't, actually, without changing a little code.

It's a rather simple change, though.

I haven't tried the hack yet. I thought it was best to wait before proceeding with that hack.

I also need name real in register, is but the logical thing that name real is formable in the registry. if it is not thus not I see the importance of having this field.

Any chance someone has an idea on this subject? I cannot open up the registration for my website until I can figure a way to get this "Real Name" to show up.

I did try the old hack Herko, but it did not work.

Well this seems to be a very difficult subject for anyone to tackle.

I think it probably best for me to switch back to 2.0.13 until all the bugs are worked out with XOOPS 2.2 and all the modules everyone is trying to update to work with version 2.2.

Spending way to many days tracking down errors, bugs and fixes for modules and such.

This is by far XOOPS greatest step forward with the 2.2 version and custom registration fields. Koodoo's to XOOPS team!

Any chance someone has come across a hack for this or a close to simple solution to get the "Real Name" visible for registration?

The later XOOPS version (Real Name) hacks are not working, except to duplicate what is already in XOOPS 2.2.
