I've had the same problem a while ago. Try if you can reach the module adminstration page and de-activate the module you deleted the table of....

http://www.yourdomain.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=modulesadmin

after that you could also try to de-install that module.

Please let us know in the forum if the solution works...

Thanks for your opinion POD! Anyone else any idea? I can try weblinks 0.92 but rather use an up to date module...

Thanks

I want to use a weblinks module on my website...

I already tried weblinks 1.61 (the latest version) but it's missing a lot of constants in the admin section. Also it's difficult to configure and needs happy-linux module installed aswell...

Formerly I used mylinks, the standard weblinks module for Xoops, but that one ain't working anymore after server upgrade to php5.

The module repository comes up with several other modules not longer devoloped or not working or download link not working anymore.

Can anyone give me a hint to good working, easy to configure, simple weblinks module? And tell me where to download aswell...

Thanks

Strange,

I'm using 2.0.16 aswell and also using administrator activation. When trying to register with same emailaddres I get this error:

ERROR: Email address already registered

So it looks like something strange is going on on your site... Hope you'll find it...

Why don't you develop a new version of this module and leave the current free as is so people can enjoy using it and maybe buy the new version from you?

Upgrading to 2.0.16 is not the solution to this problem as it's also a problem in this version. The systems imagemanager does not work properly uploading images (gif files...) Also uploading files in news module doesn't work except for Word documents. I already overlooked the defined mimetypes, it seems that types are defined well...

Anyone with a solution?

Hide userinfo to guests

When not logged in guests still can see userinfo by googling or simply type userinfo.php?uid=1

For securityreasons i don't want this to happen so i changed userinfo.php right after:

include_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/class/module.textsanitizer.php';

and inserted this line:

$xoopsUser or redirect_header('index.php', 3, _NOPERM);

Maybe its possible to let people decide through settings in a next version whether they want to grand acces to guests or not.

Same for search.php

Looks like all folder and file settings are lost by moving to your new server. You should not only correct settings for template_c folder but check all settings (same as you did while installing XOOPS in first place).

Debug can be set to on in general settings on admin site.

I overlooked the News preferences and other available settings but I can't find the mimetypes you're refering to. Please tell me where to look.

Is there no other place in XOOPS where allowed mimetypes can be set? Then maybe it's an idea for development?
