imagemanager problem uploading GIF

When using imagemanager for uploading files to use in news or guestbook it gives an error invalid file content when uploading .gif images. uploading .jpeg and .jpg works fine.

Anyone an idea on how to solve this?

Have a look in the preferences section of the news module. There is a setting about what MIME types you can upload. To upload gif you need to have a line that says:

image/gif

Not sure about the other module.

I overlooked the News preferences and other available settings but I can't find the mimetypes you're refering to. Please tell me where to look.

Is there no other place in XOOPS where allowed mimetypes can be set? Then maybe it's an idea for development?
