maybe this is a feature that i'm just missing? if so, please forgive me

what i would like to see, is an InvisionBoard-style ability to add new fields to the user profile (and maybe even specify if that field should be shown under their avatar in posts)

it would be a good idea to manage that under a separate table, as InvisionBoard does

also, it would enable ports like the XOSCommerce port, to create their own profile requirements easily, by adding in those needed fields to the 'extra_info' table

i've already suggested something similar to the XOSC team to help with the dual-login issue (go to their forums if you want to read the suggestions), but maybe this would help the XOOPS dev team and the XOSC dev team to help each other out? (i'm sure you guys already do, but a bit more help never hurt anyone )

well, if it's anything like the code that ZoneAlarm inserts into the page, it's to prevent private header information from being given out, also possibly to stop any type of popups or malicious code, etc

i'm sure he has a more accurate explanation tho

i know a paypal block exists, but i haven't noticed any mention of a more advanced paypal system

the features i'd like to see are:
-admin interface for creating a Paypal 'option': ability to create Donate, Subscribe, and Buy forms, which would be saved in the system, along with a selection of different images to use for the paypal button.

-ability to add a Paypal-contributing user to a specific Group (maybe have a different group per pay method... i.e.- Supporters group for someone that Donates, Buyers group for someone that subscribes/buys a product or service, etc)

i'm sure there's more, just can't think of it at the moment

it would be nice to have the language templates recorded into the database, so that they can easily be edited on the fly

also a search feature to quickly find a specific word or phrase would be key

who's to say that the people that remove the 'powered by' haven't contributed? many developers definitely don't mind the end user removing 'powered by', if they've been reimbursed in some way

if big companies such as Novell use this product, i'd be surprised to find that they don't 'tip' (and if they don't, i'd be a bit aghast, lol, not like they can't afford it)

hehe, i was just outlining the features that i could remember from each module, because i know there's more

btw, as far as editing templates in the admin, i assume i would need to clone the default XOOPS templates, edit the clone, and then set it as the default template to use?

it would sure be nice if he included Groups functions, that is one feature that i've always loved having in a CMS (had to use the NukeScripts Groups module for phpnuke, since there is no Groups system built in yet, and that's one reason why i'd like to migrate to xoops)

i believe tom already explained what was wrong. you possibly deleted the module folder from the server, before running the Uninstall command, so XOOPS thinks the module is still installed, and is trying to find it

to see what tables are associated with the module, look in the modules/modulename folder, open the file xoopsversion.php to see the list of table names (towards the bottom)

OR you could look in the modules/modulename/sql << folder, open the mysql.sql file, and read to see what tables/fields it uses/alters
