What?!!? Host is not providing their smtp server and they are blocking port 25? #OOPS# I'm glad they are not my providers As to why 2525 is not a solution don't know, but there is no problem if you use some third party or even your own server and forward properly.

Hmm. Interesting, so why should I remove a link to this full download, that I made available for xoopsers before this topic was even created.

I had tested the patched full/new install and it worked fine. Are you thinking of any problems that may arise later?

In the meantime I'm taking direct link from the download OFF, who want's can still get to it indirectly...

In the mean time while xoops.org thinks on when and why and how to get the download of full XOOPS 2.2.4 just get it from my site which I have done on the same day when 2.2.4 patch came out. I have no idea on who decides to put those "patches" out and who decides to put a full download or only a patch. In my opinion if you have a patch for an older version why can't you update an older version?

P.S. Just to clarify. Thanks to everyone who worked on patching 2.2.3. I'm talking not about who was working on it, but about the people who put a download together and available for others.

Just go to Admin->Blocks add news "Latest news" or similar block, check category and options so it would show up full and make it visible on front page center column.

You can try detecting a user agent by php and if it is Amiga then directing it to different page. Not sure how to implement that though for all pages. Could theme.php do that? I would assume so. The problem with this would be end user can disable agent detection so you would have to check only for Amiga browser and if it responds correctly use different theme.php code.

It's not xoops, its your links module that accepts those images. There is no way that links module is blowing up that image. Check that image size once more.

Well, host will not be off help there for sure. What you can do though is:

1.send through your host smtp
2.configure a mail server through non standar port like 2525 and send it through it, most likely your provider will not block this port. Can't remember of top of my head does XOOPS ask you for port number under smptauth or assumes it's a port 2525.
