Did you try the content module yet? Have you tried html pages not build with dreamweaver? While I don't use dw I hear it inserts some charactors that can be a problem.

Would this bypass the web browsers integrated adobe capability? Another though... would large pdfs cause a time out while trying to open?

Thats ok Shine. I ended up throwing the pdf's in a folder on my server and using multi menu to link to them. I hope to find a better solution in the future.

I know you can stuff them in an iframe, or attach to an article and yes.... even treat them as a download. However those solutions leaves them outside your normal article management.

I hope I am able to offer a solution, help, or offer some motivation for this quest. I will continue to look for code and good solutions.

Hi Liger,
You'll have to edit the template. You can find the templates for XFsection under the XOOPS template section.

I'm not sure what version of XOOPS your using, but in 2.2.x look here

Before you can edit a template you'll need to clone it. I'm not sure which template you'll need to edit so your on your own. After making changes upload the modified template and under preferences select the cloned template as defualt.

I hope this helps some.

Hmm... over 800 post are we! Sigh I have a ways to go. Hopefully I will post intellent and useful advice most of the time. There is a martial arts forum I visit from time to time and one of its members has over 10,000 post!
