Hey, I need to know of a News Module that is compatable with 2.2.x

I browsed the module repository but didn't find one. Does anyone know one that will work with this version of xoops?

Thanks in advance,

Owen.

owenjh,

You can use news 1.44 with the 2.2.X line of Xoops.

I'm not sure about xfsection, but content and the content with hacked titles works.

xfsection works with 2.2.* I have it installed on 2.2.4 and it works fine.

Edit: As a matter of fact here is a list of modules that I currently have running 5x5 on my 2.2.4 install of xoops.

- MS-Weather 1.4
- Google Maps 0.3
- WF-Downloads 3
- News 1.44
- WF-Links 1.4
- XCGallery 2.02
- xYP4All 1.57
- Netquery 3.3
- Symantic Block 1
- Xoop Stats 0.45
- XMLine 1.03
- Sitemap 1.13
- Google 1
- piCal 0.84
- XF-Section 1.1
- SmartMedia 0.85

Nice list... Will be sure to try the XF-Section out.
Nice to see a module in there that I'm helping to develop (Google Maps) It should work with the 2.2.X tree since thats what it was developed on.

Google Maps works perfect. Well close to perfect. The only thing I notice is that when I click on an added point that it goes to the zoom level and the the right part of the map it just never centers the point on the map view, I always have to drag it to center with my mouse, it's usually just off to the corner. It is visible just not centered. Something to think about

And nice work!

Thanks!

I have noticed this... the problem really is that if some one has a point with lots of text in it zooming and centering will not really help because the box will still be off the map :( Will have to figure something out to fix this.
