Sorry for my delay in answering.....
I practicly did the same as Madfish did. Except......
I've cloned the mydownloads module but have put in (apart from some personal needed group- and redirect codes) the code 'open within frame' which is included as a setting option within the standard mylinks module.
All my pdf files now open up within an extra window (target blank) but captured within a frame. The header of this frame I can adjust the way I want. (put in logo, enter some text etc.)
I don't have an example at this moment since this part is only available for registered users on my public website. This week I will upload this adjusted cloned module to a test site so you can see my example. ( i have to adjust some hardcode so guestusers can enter this module, which isn't possible at this moment
)
But to get an impression, just adjust the setting within the mylinks module (open up within frame) and you now what I mean.
