Reports BUGS please.

Upgrade from XOOPS 2.2.4:
Copy the patch to the server without the install folder.. and update system modules.


Fresh install from XOOPS 2.2.4:
Copy all patch XOOPS 2.2.4-Fixes.v3.zip to 2.2.4 folder.
now just run install.


Changes:

2006/01/26: Version 2.2.4 - Fixes v3

- Now the version of XOOPS are showing in Admin /admin.php (max-pt.net)

2006/01/25: Version 2.2.4 - Fixes v2
============================
- Fixed bug that backend with local charset are not showing ok! Change UTF-8 to charset=ISO-8859-1 to work Portuguese(and more) language in MSN Altert/Live.com/Firefox /backend.php and /modules/system/templates/system_rss.html (max-pt.net)

2006/01/25: Version 2.2.4 - Fixes v1

- Added missing editing option with the banners that are finished. multiple files (max-pt.net)
- Fixed bug that in banner is not showing html when we are in editing. /modules/system/admin/banners/banners.php (max-pt.net)

why install 2.2.3 and upgrade to 2.2.4??

just install 2.2.4..

do that

extract 2.2.3, next you extract the 2.2.4 patch to the folder of 2.2.3.

done, you have a 2.2.4 to a fresh install.
just copy to the server now.

Just follows the instructions.

Upgrade? paste 2.2.4 patch to server, not copy install directory, erase "profilefields.tmp, upgrade the 3 modules System, PM, Extends Profiles and all run fine. No error at all.


Fresh Install? apply the patch 2.2.4 to 2.2.3, and copy to the server and run install directory, and all run fine. No error at all.


But don't forget to do a backup.

Or:If you are with doubt, just install the backup(files and sql) in your Computer, and apply there the patch.
Dont forget to change the mainfile.php to your new configurations in this way.
