Yes, it's easy. Take a look at www.bloggerforum.com

You need to set content type to "html"

Personally, I've never been a fan of fixed-width themes. The first thing I do when trying out a new theme is change the basic widths from fixed pixel widths to dynamic percentage widths.

One reason is you seem to avoid some of these browser specific problems. I also think it looks better and it make much more sense for a site to fit not only a particular browser, but the user's monitor, text size settings, and desktop settings. Why force a nice-looking site to the lowest denominator when you can have it fit everyone's monitor?

Is this happening even if you are logged in as Administrator?

Usually blocks are not visible because permissions are not set correctly. Each time you create a block, you have to set permissions so that anonymous and registered user can see the blocks.

Go to Webmaster Worldwhere they have extensive forums and have very specific advice on how re-direct, parked domains and so on can affect search engine ranking.

You can either edit your theme template and put in an image link where you see a reference to the XOOPS banner display, or you can go to your admin panel under Banners and install your own graphics as banners. This can actually give you a clever graphic display since you could have a different version of your image come up each time the user refreshes his/her browser screen.

An example is here:http://www.bloggerforum.com

The site logo is the same in each banner, but the person graphic changes at random with each screen refresh.

And taken a step further (still more choices ):

If your registered users are also your employees --as in employees are all registered members, you could also use XOOPS to display your registered members in a block. That would avoid having to manually add employees to a custom block's editing window.

Mmm... I think you may be missing a step.

You need to first create a module that is compatible with XOOPS --which is not an easy task by any means.

I may be wrong, but I get the impression from your question that you believe modules are easily created through a XOOPS function and then simply inserted. Not so.

As module developers here will tell you, creating a module is pretty much like creating any computer program from scratch.

Edit: If, on the other hand, all you want is a block listing employees, you can create a block from System Admin >>Blocks and simply write in a list of employees.

I do this all the time with 7Dana themes.

Just do as suggested. I usually change the set px to a percentage. That is, change width: 765px to width: 95% or whatever you want. This allows the display to adjust to whatever monitor and resolution the user has.

I think the larger issue that the developers of this module talked about originally was the ability to charge the user for the premium services.

That is what really needs to be done for this module: charge and collect fees from users who select the premium services that the module makes available.

That would make this a killer module.

From the modules "Future Features" section:

"An e-commerce solution where users can submit their listings and pay for any upgrades to their basic listing online through an e-commerce portal. And have it all done automatically (without the involvement of the administrator). This is a nice feature to add once the entire module is bug free and the features above have been implemented."

Mambo does have a certain "polished" look, I suppose. However, you can come up with some pretty good looking themes and templates for Xoops. There's even a Mambo inspired theme in the Themes Library.

Anyway, XOOPS in way above Mambo in the modules department, IMHO. It really boils down to what you want to accomplish with a site. I've tried them all and still consider XOOPS to be the overall hands-down winner.
