Re: Selected module does not exist! When selecting modules from admin menu

Do you get the same result for ANY module?

Sounds like there is a problem with the file/folder structure.

Log in to your FTP and look in xoopsroot/modules/anymodule

and see if you can see at least an
index.php
xoops_version
.php
admin
(folder)
language (folder)

Re: RSS feed?

Lykos Syndication module has feeds for reviews, downloads and links, but there are some issues with encoding at the moment.

Feeds for all core modules are in the works as well.

Re: I need a life?

Mith,

You must have missed the paragraph in the disclaimer where it says:

"I agree not to work on any other internet related thing excepted Xoops, I will program nothing except Xoops, I will browse nothing except Xoops, and I will strive to make 1000 posts in 2 months*."

* VALID posts of course**!

** Don't think you have anything to worry about there mate...

Re: Proposal for an XOOPS standards committee

ackbarr,

I am not sure if you have reasonable expectations there, cos I don't know if the '2' people who satisfy your criteria will be interested.

I reckon I qualify on about 3 out of 6 there, and I am on the module team! lol

Anyway, good luck

Re: Proposal for an XOOPS standards committee

Slightly off topic, but adding info to xoops_version as to what version of XOOPS the module will run might be an idea.

Then when installing a module there should be a check for compatibility.

Thoughts?

Re: Lykos blocks

The stats block does include WFSections. At present the latest in a category block is only for the News Module

Re: Lykos Googled 0.1

Hmmm, strange

Can you enable PHP debug, and tell me what you get when accessing the module? If that gives nothing, try SMARTY debug.

Are you on icq/msn ?

Re: Lykos Googled 0.1

Serge,

The following questions:

1 - Have you check the feed on googlealert.com, to see if it is immediatly active?

2 - Did the install go ok? Ie, it created the template ok?

3 - Is the blank page a toally empty page, or a XOOPS frame with left blocks but no content?
