just like in www.xoops.org. i go to my site, and then the login page appears. i don't use any dropdown menus to get there.

the problem is, i'm not brought to my login page when i go to my site. i'm brought to the directory instead. my web host told me that the hacker corrupted my index.php or index.html files.

i tried replacing the index.php but nothing happens. should i reinstall XOOPS instead? do i need to uninstall it first or should i just overwrite the files and run install again?

I want to make my search pages look like all the other search pages in XOOPS modules (e.g., saerch members).

Any idea how and where i can learn this?

i changed the update module template to Yes, and then i submitted it. but i still have the same problem.

I deleted the file. I hope you're not losing your patience , but i still don't see the user menu.

I also see the numbers 777 opposite the templates_c folder...if i check the files under it, they're set to 644.

uhm..ok, you lost me at "admin templates" (sorry! i'm quite new). are you telling me to go to modules\system\admin...? i feel that i'm wrong...can you tell me how to go there? ::blushes::
