Hi!

My service provider accidentally deleted my account from his web-hosting service.

So i had to start installing XOOPS from scratch. I was successful the first time i installed it, i could use it smoothly.

This is the first time i encountered this problem. after successfully installing xoops, after logging in, all i have is the Home menu. what can i do to make the other menus appear?

install the modules you want to use through system admin - modules.

Thanks, I did that.

However, there are other menus that i'd like to see such as the direct link to the admin page and the notification menu. how come they're missing?

Go to your Block config and make sure it is enabled. Also go to your groups and see that the webmaster group has permissions to view this block.

Use yousite.com/user.php to log in, and then use yoursite.com/admin.php to get insite the admin section.

Would it somehow be possible that block is set to display on a separate page other then your home page or 'all pages'

I'm just curious. Go to blocks admin, and click edit for the user block and check to be sure it is set for all pages.
