But that's the way how it goes. Open up the image manager, select a category (e.g. News), upload the image and select it after that action.

I think following these steps are less time-consuming than sending an email, and the user can see how his news article will look in the preview.

I don't understand what is so complex with this procedure. Maybe you should write a small docu where you explain how to upload an image. This will save you much time (in continuing to upload the images yourself and redesign the newsmodule).

I'm also very excited due to the the upcoming release of the coppermine gallery as a XOOPS module.

Derya does quality work, so this module will definitely be a great submission into the XOOPS community.

I think you need a tool like Confixx. Don't know if there are free tools out there.

Xoops is a supposed to be CMS and not a webserver managing tool.

With the Xtremuserguestbook every user can have its own guestbook.

If you want to have a normal siteguestbook you should look for Xtremguestbook.

Xtremguestbook is for the complete website!
Xtremuserguestbook is for every user ...

You see the difference ?

I have XtremGuestbook v1.3 running. This version uses templates via the template manager of xoops!

And for german translations you can always look at the german XOOPS support site. If your favourite module isn't translated yet, simply start a request there ..

You can change the order in /cache/adminmenu.php

There are 3 settings for every the module:

$xoops_admin_menu_ml[1]
$xoops_admin_menu_sd[1]
$xoops_admin_menu_ft[1]

The number in [x] is for the module order in the adminmenu.

Example:
If you have only installed the news module, the system admin number is [1] and the news module number is [2]. Now you can change this numbers and the module icons in the administration will change its position.

I don't know what happens, when you update a module. Maybe it changes the order back again. But possibly it helps at the moment.

Be sure that you uploaded the module files to

modules/imenu/

and not to

modules/imenu/imenu/

This is often the problem of unzipping the module package and causes the "Modulefile not found" error.
