I downloaded imenu and unzipped it but I haven't a clue as to where to upload it and how to access it and use it. Can anyone help?

As far as I can understand from the readme, you only need to upload the iMenu-dir to /modules

I figured out I needed to upload the imenu directory to the modules directory. After I did that, I logged into XOOPS and went to sys admin > modules and clicked on the install icon for imenu. At the top of the page came a bunch of messages that said "Module File for iMenu Not Found!Module File for Not Found!" However, in the center of the webpage was the following message:
"Module data inserted successfully. Module ID: 10
Setting group rights...
Added admin access right for Group ID 1
Added user access right for Group ID: 1
Added user access right for Group ID: 2

Module installed successfully."

Back in the modules section it shows that imenu was not installed. Can anyone provide some insight? Thanks.

PS. I also just realized that imenu is a module and not a template so my appologies for posting in the wrong section.

I've also encoutered this before, with another module. I reuploaded the crap, and suddenly it worked.

BTW: The module-logo appears scrambled. Any other ppl noticed this?

Thanks for the suggestion, however, I had already tried uploading things again and got the same messages. Anyone have any ideas?

Be sure that you uploaded the module files to

modules/imenu/

and not to

modules/imenu/imenu/

This is often the problem of unzipping the module package and causes the "Modulefile not found" error.

Maaannnn, I am so embarrased. It was that Linux thing you know, case sensitivity. I made the folder imenu instead of iMenu.

However, now I have two blank modules listed in my modules list from the two bogus installs. Clicking the uninstall does not remove them. How can I get rid of them?
