Imago themes have some curves. I just built my first theme last week. Now I am about to modify another. Now that I've built one and realize how easy it is to build them, and ANY theme can be used easily with XOOPS with minor modifications, I will probably be releasing some in the themes section soon. I have about 10,000 professional templates that I have purchased in packages over the years, and I am going to port some of them to XOOPS.

You have to clear your browser's cache.

IE= got to Tools / Internet Options / Delete Files.

Mozilla= Tools / Options / Privacy / Cache / Clear Cache Now.

Speaking of cross-sites... Nekro got the multiX module to work on my sites. I now have several sites running on one user database. I still have to do a minor registration hack so that it's fully functional for my purposes, but that, at least is a mission accomplished.

Has anyone ever used MS Access with the mySQL plugin to switch XOOPS databases to another server? I can import my whole XOOPS databases into Access. I've done that before.

There is a function to export as well, but I haven't tried it yet.

I was just wondering if anyone here has tried it or is it a waste of time? Will it ruin the database?

If no-one has attempted it, I will be trying it soon.

If it keeps the whole structure intact it SHOULD make switching hosts easier. Just import, export, download, upload, change mainfile.php and BAM it's done. I have to switch 4 sites to a new server and new domain names by January.

Selling computers pre-packaged with microsoft products is like selling cars with square wheels.

I fixed the first 3 errors in IE 7 and it stopped working in Mozilla but started working in IE 7.

My fading and rotating banner script showed errors in IE 7 too.

These scripts work in all browsers BUT IE 7 without errors.

I would rather leave the errors and hope everyone realizes Internet Explorer sucks and stops using it.

I believe the problem lies in the /modules/system/js/adminmenu.js
or the
/modules/system/js/adminmenu_src.js
files that came with that admin area mod. I am going to attempt to fix it for IE 7 if I can.

I HATE IE7

I used admin area revisited beta 2. Now the menu doesn't show up in IE 7. Is that the hack you used? I am going to try to fix it if I can. If I do I will post the fix here.

This is a tough one. I need to set up 3 sites so a forum or news post, when being approved by a moderator, can be posted to the appropriate forum or news categories on any or all of the sites by the moderator at the same time they are approving the post.

On the old system, that was in .asp, this was done on the approval page with checkboxes for all of the categories and topics for all of the sites. I just wonder if this will be possible for the new XOOPS based sites?

I haven't been able to find a module with that functionality yet.
