Novell uses eDirectory and openLDAP for authentification on their forge site (http://forge.novell.com), and they are currently upgrading that code to XOOPS2. Perhaps you can find some answers there.

This is simple to resolve: in the cache folder, you'll find a file called adminmenu.php. You'll need to chmod that file to 666, so the system can write changes to the admin menu

Does anyone know of a successful phpCollab integration or modularisation with XOOPS? We're looking at using XOOPS as our corporate extranet application, but we'd like project workplace facilities, most of those XOOPS posesses, but phpCollab would make an excellent addition... Anyone?

add XOOPS to your trusted sites list (allow everything from XOOPS.org).

Can you make the newbb module open to the non-regsited public, so we can look at it?

FOr a quick and simple survey you could also use BrandyCoke's Liaise module. It's a contact form generator, that sends the form to a specified group. But instead of a contact form, you can easily create a survey with it. There's no analasys or anything, just intake of the form. But it's easy to work.

you can login using the link to user.php (www.yoursite.com/user.php). Then you can go to admin.php, and it should let you in nicely.

It means that you're not logged in as a user with admin rights. But when I look at your website (when redirected to it), I see just the header and footer, nothing more. It may be that you've misconfigured your site, perhaps by changing the user groups?

Contact+ acts very much like Liaise (tho I personally prefer Liaise). Check it out at www.brandycoke.com
