SmartSection & WF-Downloads reveal Real Names...

In both SmartSection and WF-Downloads, when a user submits an article, it displays there "Real Name" rather than their "User Name". In WF-Downloads, "Submitter" shows the real name and in SmartSection it appears like below:

Posting an article shows the (Published By) username (Hard Road):

But if you use the "Recent items (Detail)" in a block it displays the (Published By) real name (Neil Mariotti).

The SmartSection "Module Preference" where it shows:
([FORMAT OPTIONS] Use the Real Name of users) is set to "No". Has anyone been able to get these two modules to show the usernames?

Using SmartSection 1.05 (Beta 1), WF-Downloads 2.05 and XOOPS 2.2.3

I have asked this question at SmartFactory a week ago, without an answer to my question. I am hoping someone on here has ran into this issue and would know where I can fix the problem.

This first screen shot is with the original "Light Blue" background.

This screen shot is with the white background and what I would like to have it changed to.

The white background looks like all the other modules I use and I would like to keep it consistent. Just don't know if it is a css or pic creating the light blue background.

I am using 2.2.3 and I haven't had any problems with updating and/or modifiying the "Ranks".

I have 22 ranks (7 with special ranks on and 15 with special ranks off) and they are jpeg's at 120 x 30.

I have modified the ranks 3 times, all with no problems and no hacks involved.

But as "davidl2" mentioned, I had to update the system module each time.

Thanks m0nty,

I don't mind the members using their username in the display name. Although I have warned them all about using both as the same name (kind of defeats the purpose).

The problem I am having is how to get the display name to still separate the name (i.e. SLEO 577), but yet use an escape code for the white space between the name so that the chatroom doesn't just show (i.e. SLEO) and drop the (i.e. 577) because of the white space.

It is a PHP issue I still haven't figured out how to correct in the right spots of the users.php files.

I had the same problem when I deleted "MyAlbum" after installing "XcGallery".

All you need to do to bring back the "Main Menu" is in the Admin Panel go to "Modules Administration" and click on "System Admin" click on "Update" and it will bring up your "Main Menu" again and show where you problable have an error in "Duplicate Names" somewhere.

Not quite sure where I would put (/x20) in the register.php file (/modules/profile/register.php) but I have tried

with little success, so there must be a better solution.

I had the same problem with the stamp.gif not showing up because I have a re-direct for the website on the server.

I went into /modules/xcgal/templates/xcgal_discard.html:

Where it reads:
[b]Line 22[/b] <div aligh="right'><img src="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/xcgal/images/stamp.gif" border="0" alt""/></div>


And changed it to:
[b]Line 22[/b] <div aligh="right'><img src="<{$xoops_url}>MyActualPath/modules/xcgal/images/stamp.gif" border="0" alt""/></div>


This way it went to the actual path of where the stamp.gif was.

Give this another try on the session times. Actually it seems everyone disappears after maybe 5 minutes. Any chance some one knows who to keep them on longer?

I think I need to insert this somewhere in the user's.php file, but not finding the proper escape code to do this. It is still displaying just the first name.

Are you getting an error message when trying to upload and did you set your "Modify Mimetypes"?
