Module file not found

I'm trying to upload/install the ARMS Content Management module. I've gotten other modules to install, so I know I'm hitting the right directory but when I unzip it I get a message saying "Module file not found!". I've had the same thing with lots of other modules, so I'm sure it's some newbie screw-up on my part but the fact that other modules install fine after I unzip makes me think that it's something I'm missing and not just my general newbieness.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Follow up question:
Can the Main Menu be edited to appear differently for different groups? Specifically, setting the order of the module to "0" keeps it from appearing in the Main Menu, like I wanted, but is it possible to set it up so that it will appear for Webmasters (or some other group)? Here's what I want to do (maybe I'm going about it the wrong way): I want everybody to be able to read articles, but only select people should be able to post/edit them (and I'd just as soon keep the others out of the "index" pages), but I'd like the people who can create them to be able to do so through the site without having to get into the Admin section, where they might wreak havoc.

Your reply to my other question cleared up most of my issue, however I can still cite the AM Events (v. 0.18) module. I want everybody to be able to view our events, but only webmasters should be posting new ones. I can force people to log in, but any registered user can post - if I take away the module access, then they can't read it.

You are awesome...sorry I'm such a newbie. Did I miss that somewhere in the documentation? I'd like to cut down on some of the easy questions like that so I can start creating more difficult ones!

Thanks for the info. Anyone know if they may change that? I'm surprised there aren't more people out there who would want to set it up tht way.

As I add modules, I'm placing their contents into Blocks on the Main Page. Specifically, I am speaking of Tiny Content and Edito. They loog good with the added blocks, but they also place a link into the Main Menu, which is redundant and also grants (unwanted) access to the "index" page for each section. Is there a way to get rid of the Main Menu links to modules (apart from hacking the code, which I'm completely clueless about)?

Thanks.

Is there a way that I can give a group the access to view the articles within a module without giving them the ability to create new ones? I want to make sure that not every miscreant who creates an account can go to town on the website - but I want anybody who stops by to be able to see what we're about. Unfortunately, when I've tried turning off Module Access, it blocks them from accessing the module at all.

Thanks.

OK, I found and edited the .css file for the theme I'm using (4metal) and it displays with the links left aligned, but only the viewer refreshes the page. Any thoughts?

I've got a newbie question. I moved a block (specifically, the Main Menu) from the right side to the left and want to get the text within the block left-aligned. I can't find any php files that deal with the alignment, though. What am I missing?

Thanks.
