If you have to start the translation from scratch you should translate the language folder in the root and the language folder inside the installed modules.

You should also decide if you will translate the admin section as well…
if you want to translate only the visible part to the user go only for main.php and notifications from modinfo.php

Also, extremely helpful topic is that...

First of all...welcome to xoops!

where are you from?
have you check for a local support?
have you check in the translation projects in dev.xoops.org?

Probably, if you are lucky - you don't need to translate it...but if you have come back for more!

dont forget the powerful tool called "search" in xoos.org
focus in forums and faq

hmmmm...

this

$modversion['sub'][1]['url'] = "../../modules/ipboard/";

and that

$modversion['sub'][2]['url'] = "../../modules/weblog/";

have to change to the paths where the custum folders placed.

Say that i've made a custom folder called ¨projects" (inside i've placed index.php and xoops_version.php)...then the path will be

$modversion['sub'][1]['url'] = "../../modules/projects/";

First thing that comes in my mind is:

Have you adjust the appropriate permissions to the blocks access?

Or?

Is it verified that this module work with 2.2.x versions?

Use the two php files (there are inside the mypage.zip) as templates.

It has a line “your HTML here”

Copy paste your code and
follow, step by step, the instruction of the txt file.

No need to know php…just a bit of html
Make your page and copy-paste it between the php tags.

Download that zip package from JackJ (www.macambridge.com)to find more info.
Read instruction.txt

You can find also there, the “xoops for blonds ebook”…best place to start

Start to experiment a bit (the best way to learn)

Nothing to worry about….

Most of the times that this error happens to me owed to the fact that I have upload the module’s folder incorrect…

So first look carefully the list in the administration tab in your XOOPS site…probably you will notice that a specific module doesn’t appear…delete it and upload it again (probably is the last you did)

Probably you have to upload all the inner folder and the files like xoops_version.php which contains module’s id

Unfortunately…here the situation in hosting/internet access reminds me the Stone Age.

I don’t want to refer in percentages and prices…
