Actually... it is working now. I just replaced the newbb_viewtopic.php (or whatever it was) with a fresh copy. I may have messed something up when I was messing with a couple things. So it is all fixed. Thanks for the help all!

I have noticed that for each registered user logged into my site, there is an anonymous user with the same IP logged in as well. Is this a bug or possible a server/host update issue?

I have set my default comments to display in threaded and have set my account to display in threaded, however, all my comments and forum posts are displayed in flat. Can anyone help me out? possible a chmod issue?

well... I decided to change some graphics and forget about the font size for now. I changed the background color in my CSS sheet... now for some reason in IE my fonts are all different sizes through my site. I didn't touch anything. I am using win2k and win 2003 server.

Not to mention now all the fonts in the center of this website forum are large too. any ideas?

Different top page for different groups??

Is there a way to change the top page for different groups? I want a certain group (ie. Group A) to start with the News section as the top page. I want another group (ie. Group B) to start with a page with a few custom blocks outlining a few topics I have put in the blocks.

My problem is this.:

Group A sees the News page just fine and dandy since I permissioned that group from seeing my custom blocks placed center-center.

Now Group B sees the center-center custom blocks AND the news. If I restrict Group B from seeing the news, it says you do not have permission to access this page and sends them right to the login screen. Or is there a way of hiding the news stories and just display my custom blocks?

Font size for custom blocks

I wrote a history block in a custom block but it defaults to the small default font. How can I change my font in my custom block? or for that fact, in any block? I know it has to do with the Style Sheet, but I have tried finagling the font size but just cant do it right. Can anyone help me? I am really new at all of this.

You can delete this topic... I found out how to gain access to my groups admin section and give back my permissions. lol!
