1st of all Excellent Mod, very useful indeed..

was wondering tho, if it would be possible for you or someone to allow the changing of the maps config via the adminCP so that users in different countries than the USA can use their own yahoo maps site..

ie in uk >http://uk.maps.com/ i know it's easy enuff to change manually, but would be an excellent addition for the adminCP and make things lots easier for those people that don't like editing code..

not sure on that problem, but if u tryin to use XOOPS on your own pc at home which is set as a webserver accesible to other people on the net then i'd recommend trying this out >http://www.no-ip.com

I can't seem to get this module working either..

after i submit in admin, i get a white page.. if i refresh the page re appears and the submit did submit and appears at top..

but when i goto the main site, and click headlines, all i get is a white page..

all my admin module icons etc have disappeared from the left hand menu section in admin..

this happened after installing the headlines module.. it has done this b4 after installing another module, but was able to get the menu back last time by uninstalling the module again and installing a different one..

but this time i'm unable to get the list back..

I can still get to the modules admin using >http://www.yourdomain.com/main/modules/system/admin.php?fct=modulesadmin


but if i click the normal admin the list just doesn't appear :( any ideas?

Addresses Module problem

i've installed this module, and then gone to the templates section and generated templates for the module..

except on the list 1 of the templates will not generate, it says the file doesn't exist.. but i've checked the folder and the html template is there..

the template file in question = addresses_visitlink.html

if any1 has this module could they possibly try it and tell me whats wrong.. i think this is the cause of the map function not going to the right maps page.. i have set the config to goto uk.yahoo.com but it still goes to the american site and i think that's the problem..

ok forget that, i thought if i installed a different module it might bring the list back, so i installed a module and the list re appeared..

dunno y it disappeared tho when i installed the xdirectory module..

i've just this minute installed the Xdirectory module..

and now all my admin modules have disappeared from the left hand list.. the modules are still installed but the whole list has disappeared..

i've tried going back on my browser to the modules admin and uninstalled xdirectory, but still the list has disappeared..

clear your browser cache.. ie temp internet files.. that should solve it..

ok sorted that problem out and IPBM is now installed :)

the next problem is how the hell can i import/convert my standalone IPB 1.2 forum onto XOOPS ipbm 1.23??

i've used koudanshi's converter but everytime i do this, i end up with problems.. the problem being once it's completed i goto the forum index page and all i get is a white page!!
