you have to go into xoops/admin and then system and select groups.

then u have to give the anonymous group permission to access the module by ticking the appropriate check boxes..

now i think i need to go for an eye test so i can actually read the manual better.. lol i dunno how i missed something so simple..

when i submit news or enter text the change font functions do not work.. it changes on the sample above where u type ur text in but when u view the submitted item it doesn't change.. neither does it if i use < b> etc etc

yes, the files in netpbm are set to 777..

i've had to change to a different host and this meant reinstalling XOOPS from scratch basically, due to the old host refusing to answer phone calls or reply to emails.

i've installed myalbum-p 2.5 which i had on the old server and was working perfectly.. I've set it up exactly as it was b4..

but every time i submit a new photo i get the following error:

DB error: UPDATE photo table

permissions on folders are 777 and also 777 on the netpbm folder..

when i check the upload folder it shows the filename as tho it's uploaded but when i try to open the image it says format not recognised.. the photo is a jpg

any ideas?

dunno if this is a bug or not, but i've changed the premium field in phpmyadmin of table xoops_xdir_links to a value of 1 and the urls still don't show on the listings.. or have i done something wrong?

i'm running XOOPS 2.05 and a clean install of ipbm 1.23.

the problem is, i have a current ipb forum on the old site, the site is on the same server but different folder as it is being used still till we've finished building the new site.. it is also using a seperate MySQL database..

the old forum is ipb 1.2 stand-alone not integrated into XOOPS or anything..

everytime i try to use the ipb original to ipbm 1.23 convertor to import the database from the old forum to the ipbm 1.23 it says everything went ok, but then when i goto the ipboard/index.php i get a blank white page and nothing else

what causes this and how do i solve it?

i've installed the current version, but i can't get the urls or email addresses to show on the listings at all..

i figure it's to do with the premium settings? but where do you change this and is there a feature that will disable the premium feature if i don't want to charge people for urls to show etc?

just checkin, have u got cookies enabled? also check your firewall (if any) that maybe stopping you..

you could clear your cookies & temp internet files, that may work..

just a suggestion tho, it may not solve it..
