I'm wondering if anyone has developed away to modify the data contained in the registration process to add data like physical address and other admin defined fields... does anyone know an easy way to do this? I'm only slightly comfortable with MySQL, but enough that I could create the extra fields in the tables... but I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to get XOOPS to interact with it properly... I'm hoping someone has a mod for this...

BTW, is there a way to delete your own post if no one has responded to it yet?

Okay, so this worked perfect... but now I want to edit another page... the USER.PHP file that produces the FORM to log-in... I want to remove the registration option from this page, too... I looked at the userform.php, assuming that this was the page, but I don't see what I'm looking for... any help?

Can't see system messages (font on font)

The current theme I have installed is odd in the respect that the "Thank you for logging in" messages (etc) can't be seen due to the font color/bg color.

I'm sure this is an easy fix, but I'm afraid of screwing around with it... does anyone know what specifically I need to edit to fix that? Also, can I reword the messages to something that's more appropriate for my specific application?

THANKS EVERYONE!!

It seems like it would be pretty easy to create, but I'm about as useful when it comes to designing modules as my dog would be.

I'm thinking of something that would allow clients to, while logged in, see their billing info... much like you'll find on your cell-phone carrier's web site or your amazon account, or anything else like that...

Thoughts?

I love this! Seriously, thanks so much! The page loads faster, and it seems to have full functionality across all browsers! It's great... thanks!

Issues w/embedded MP3 in IE

Hello, all...

While this isn't really a XOOPS problem (I don't think), it is on my XOOPS site, and would love it if some people could help me out.

On the page:http://www.WattProductions.com/modules/vsamps

there are 4 embedded mp3s on the page (with visable players, not auto-playing)... now, most computers with IE display correctly, but a few provide pop-ups describing a plug-in error.

Now, using my awesome powers of deduction (ha!) I'm thinking that the difference is the computer's default player for MP3. When it's WMP, no problem... when it's Real Player, no problem... It looks to me like the problem lies in iTunes/Quicktime.

If people could just visit the page and see if it loads correctly, and let me know if it does or not and your default player that would be of great help to me!

Also, if I am right about this, does anyone have any bright ideas to circumvent the issue? It's imparative that this work across multiple platforms.

And last but not least, this page may take a little time to load, it's preloading the mp3s. In the final version, however, I plan to use javascript pop-ups to launch each audio file after it's been selected, which should make that page load as quickly as any other!

Thanks all - I appreciate everyone's help!

Hi folks!

What I'd like to do here is simply remove the "Register now!" link that appears in the log-on box. I've turned off registrations, but I would prefer to not even have that link available. Administrators will be adding any new accounts... I'm sure this is probably fairly simple, but I'm not really all that good!

Any help is, as always, appreciated.

Mike

Center-Bottom Not Showing Up

http://www.MelsBGC.com/

I'm trying right now to add a center (full length) block to the bottom of the page (under the center-left/center-right) blocks. If I use the TOP center-middle area it shows up above the other blocks (regardless of weight number)... If I use the BOTTOM center-middle area it doesn't show up at all!

This has been bugging me at for a long time - I just can't figure it out... Any help?

-----EDIT------

I've found some possible problems in others' posts... they say it's likely an old theme that doesn't support the new functionality... at least that's probably why it's not showing up at all... currently using the PinkGooberhead theme... does anyone know if this is capable of displaying center-bottom blocks?
Also, I'm still wondering if it's possible now to display center-center blocks BELOW center-left/right blocks.

THANKS
