Hi folks!

What I'd like to do here is simply remove the "Register now!" link that appears in the log-on box. I've turned off registrations, but I would prefer to not even have that link available. Administrators will be adding any new accounts... I'm sure this is probably fairly simple, but I'm not really all that good!

Any help is, as always, appreciated.

Hi,

you need to edit the template - (system_block_login.html). To do that, you hhave some options:

-use theme override available in XOOPS 2.0.14+. You can learn about it here https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3367

or

-clone the 'default' template set in administration menu -> system admin -> templates 'clone' - eneter new name and submit.
then go to preferences -> general settings and set 'Default template set' to the new one, scroll down and submit.
go back to templates, list system templates and edit 'system_block_login.html'
clear templates cache (delete all files except index.html in templates_c folder)

or

you can edit the system_block_login.html file in XOOPS_ROOT/modules/system/templates/blocks
and update system module in admin and clear templates cache.

A quick one could be just deactivate the login block and aceess http://wattproductions.com/user.php to login.

You can edit your modules/system/templates/blocks/system_block_login.html and comment out the a href="<{$xoops_url}>/register.php"><{$block.lang_registernow}>

line.

Okay, so this worked perfect... but now I want to edit another page... the USER.PHP file that produces the FORM to log-in... I want to remove the registration option from this page, too... I looked at the userform.php, assuming that this was the page, but I don't see what I'm looking for... any help?
