About News modules as an alternative, can I transfer all my articles from smartsection to News? Is this possible?
I can use AMS also if this module can import from ssection.

Thanks a lot and merry xmas for all!

Thanks

@raymia: rm+soft looks a very interesting module but now redmexico is not supporting anymore And yes you are totally right, it is e-card

@Mamba: thanks I will take a look

@JAVesey: thanks a lot. I think I tried xcGall before and it was complicated, maybe there is a recent version.
For sure I will try ExtCal, I think this is the option.

And, what about users? Do you think using profile module, registered users can create and maintain a list of persons/items inside their profile?

Hi there!

I have a project I want to do with Xoops.
I need modules to do:

* photo gallery with option to send postcards
* register an appointment, date, time and description
* users must registered to access these sections but a user can create a list of persons so he can assign to appointments

hearing for recommendations about it.

Thanks!

Yes, xoopsgallery is just an interface and inside engine folder you have to upload Gallery and size is very big. There are differents version size, some smaller.
When I tested I upload xoopsgallery without engine contents and then uploads last Gallery version inside this folder.
It tooks too much time!

i think i understand yes. but i see a problem in that. just pretend i want to upload multiple files. like 2000. if you mean to upload 1 pic after another it's going to take endless amounts of time. there should be an way to zip files. upload them and then unzip them on the website or inside the module. little time uploading lots of pleasure watching.

just think critisize and add you ideas or opinion.

I think this is a high level feature. I have seen something similar only from Gallery. It uses many ways to upload multiple files (pictures, videos, etc), one is through explorer (Windows) or F-Spot (Ubuntu) in "simple" way. xoopsgallery module provides the interface but it is not a final version.

Anyway, I love to use extGallery as it is.

Interesting idea, but what is the difference between your module and hook hack from extgallery?
