Hi there!

I have a project I want to do with Xoops.
I need modules to do:

* photo gallery with option to send postcards
* register an appointment, date, time and description
* users must registered to access these sections but a user can create a list of persons so he can assign to appointments

hearing for recommendations about it.

Thanks!

rm+soft gallery has this description Quote:
AdminOne and BiteC3R0 created a new image gallery module which allows you to publish photos in categories.

- Easy administration of the categories and the images.
- Organization of categorias and limitless subcategorias.
- system of automatic loading.
- e-card feature.
- and more !

maybe this one?

xcGall can send e-cards using the photos in the gallery. Full permission set, so you can control which user-groups are able to use the facility. The e-cards are sent to the recipient by email and there's a back-link to your site's gallery included in the email.

As for a calendar, try ExtCal (http://www.zoullou.net/). This appointments/events have Who's Going/Who's Not Going listings for each event/appointment. Again the module has a very full permisison set to control who has access to what.

Both are fine modules but, as with any modules, you need to try them to see for yourself

Thanks

@raymia: rm+soft looks a very interesting module but now redmexico is not supporting anymore And yes you are totally right, it is e-card

@Mamba: thanks I will take a look

@JAVesey: thanks a lot. I think I tried xcGall before and it was complicated, maybe there is a recent version.
For sure I will try ExtCal, I think this is the option.

And, what about users? Do you think using profile module, registered users can create and maintain a list of persons/items inside their profile?

XcGal is good (based on Coppermine). It's administration is not straight forward, but a lot of things can be done.

For the user things, i think you have to check out some more social oriented modules like Yoghurt or Clientspace.
