Improved Cookie Handling - Keep Theme

I've looked around and am surprised that no one else has requested this feature.

I (and my users) would like it if the theme they select when they are on the site is stored in the site cookie so that when they return the theme is still there and it does not go back to the "default".

Is this possible?

Sorry - hate to double post but this is a terribly annoying issue and we've gotten no response on the fix. (By the way, if XOOPS had a bump feature for the forums, no one would have to double post) ;)

The site statistics module seems to have ceased functioning since upgrading to v2.2.2. Is there an updated version of this module?

I'd be happy to contribute to the TDT. I've definitely become a big XOOPS fan since changing a few of my sites over from 'nuke. If you'd like to take a look at some of my work, email me and we'll talk about what I can do to help support XOOPS.

Is there an update on this fix? It appears that the news module is pulling the "Real Name" rather than the username and if the field in the database is blank you get the anonymous XOOPS default.

Sorry for the double but EDIT option has vanished. I believe I have discovered and corrected the problem with the users getting kicked back to the Profile page.

When I ported my user db over from phpnuke, I completely ignored the groups_users_link table. If this table is not populated for EVERY UID, those that are not linked will return to their View Account page.

I've now updated the g_u_l table and I believe the problem has gone away.
