I'd suggest downloading my karate_redux_blue theme, or Ackbarr's karate redux theme and have a look at the theme.html file. I think you'll find what you're looking for there .

Did you try going to system admin->modules->then click on the update icon next to the system module?

Hmmm, from rough calculations I did, a view count on this thread of 1940 from the time it was posted until the time I saw it approximately 8 hours later would mean it was being viewed every 15 seconds or so. I don't think so , but it looks as if I'm the only one with this problem .

Hi All,

Got a really weird one here. I've got a new user on my site that posted on my forums early this morning, which is fine. Whats got my attention more than normal is that NewBB is reporting there are close to 2000 views on this post, even though my site only has only gotten about 2,500 views in total for the two weeks since its launch.

The NewBB forum on my site is version 2.0.4 standard without any hacks, and I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen anything like this before?

Sounds like a great idea DoggyDE! You might want to have a chat with Ackbarr as I'm pretty sure he's written a similar module.

Thanks for the reply onokazu. I might see if I can write a hack for this myself then if there isn't too much involed in it, otherwise I'll just use the phpadsnew module.

Xoops is a CMS, so yes it will simplyfy the process of adding web content. No matter what though, to get a well presented site that is displayed correctly in all the major browsers is still a lot of work. As to what modules you'll need, well that really depends on what content you plan on having. For basic site contents, the default modules are all you'll need.
