ok, here is a question...i'm having this same problem but it happens every time i add a new block. i don't understand what is going on. i have to manually go in and add it for all groups, including registered ones. so the question is: why is it doing this and how do i fix it?

2 questions
1. Have you tried re-uploading all of the pages over top of each other (aside from the mainfile.php page)
2. How did you install? Did you use Fantastico or one of those type of installers?

actually...maybe that's just a typo bug in the xoops_version.php file. Check yours and see if it says 1.3 on line 12. Mine looks like this:

actually no, it's 1.3....but i downloaded the 1.5RC zip file from the site and this is what i ended up with. I wonder what's up with that.

It makes the rest of my site look like crap. It has a nice professional look to it. Crap. Now I have to redesign my whole site again just to fit Soapbox. Damn me and my lousy original design.
