Hello I'm lmaix (ex-CoWebmaster of XOOPS France) my website is http://www.jekif.com

As you can see I'm running a XOOPS v1 version (a little modificated of course).

Herko is waiting for some poeple who are interested by continuing XOOPS v1 development.

I want to know if you are interested...

What I asked lmaix is if he's interested in continuing the development of the XOOPS 1.x series, but then under the xoops.org wings, giving international support and development. This because there are a few people whose hearts have been taken by the X1 series, and have continued to modify and expand the system.

The offer is open, but he doesn't have the time to devote to this, all by himself. So he's looking for other people who are willing to join in this adventure, and create a subcommunity for the X1 series development and support. XOOPS.org will facilitate and promote this whenever and wherever nessecary, of course

I'll reply only once, if you don't mind

Yes and no. e-xoops/run cms is a XOOPS1 fork, but they went on their own dev path. Here we're talking about picking up our own thread again.

:)

I take it them, in theory, existing mods from rundmc, could also work on XOOPS 1?

(Whoops - sorry about the double post! Don't know how that happened!)

Edit: I mean RunCMS - not RunDMC :)

Edit 2: Great looking site btw! Good luck with the project.

Yes with a few modifications but we don't need that because many people like me, who love XOOPS v1, have a multitude of ancient modules.

We just have to update it a little and develop it after. Moreover we can transform XOOPS v2 modules to XOOPS v1 easily.
